Samsung’s One UI 8, built on Android 16, introduces dynamic wallpapers, better multitasking, faster Quick Share, and group audio sessions. This is one of Samsung’s biggest software updates of the year. It’s already available on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, with more devices expected to receive it soon. The update offers a fresh design, improved controls, and new features to enhance daily use.
The beta version is live in India, Germany, the UK, and the USA for the Galaxy S25 series, including the S25+ and S25 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 series is also testing the update, and the S23 series has been spotted running beta builds too.
What Galaxy Users Can Expect
Samsung hasn’t confirmed an official release date, but reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 series could receive the stable version first, possibly as early as next month. After that, the Galaxy S24 series, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 are expected to follow. By year-end, the update should reach Galaxy A, S, and M series devices, as well as Galaxy tablets.
The update will support a wide range of devices, including the Galaxy S25, S24, S23, and S22 series, plus foldables like the Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 4 and Flip 4. Tablets like the Tab S10, Tab S9, and Tab S8 are also included, along with mid-range phones such as the Galaxy A55 and A35.
