The Trump Organization announced on Monday the launch of Trump Mobile, a new mobile phone service, along with a branded smartphone called the T1 Phone. This move marks the company’s expansion into the U.S. telecommunications sector, exactly ten years after Donald Trump began his first presidential campaign.
The mobile service features a monthly plan priced at $47.45, a figure that appears to reference Trump’s roles as the 45th and 47th U.S. President.
Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, shared his enthusiasm for the new venture, stating:
“We’re excited to enter this digital space. Hard-working Americans deserve a wireless service that’s reliable, affordable, and aligned with their values.”
What Trump Mobile Offers
Trump Mobile includes both a mobile service plan and a smartphone. The service called “The 47 Plan” offers nationwide 5G coverage and claims to use the same network infrastructure as major U.S. carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T.
Key features of the mobile plan include:
- Unlimited talk, text, and data
- Free international calling to over 100 countries
- Roadside assistance
- Access to telehealth services
The T1 Phone is a gold-coloured smartphone with a built-in camera and 256 GB of storage. It features an impressive American flag and “T1” on the back, as shown on the company’s website.
Pricing and Availability
- The cellular plan is available now at $47.45 per month.
- The T1 smartphone will be priced at $499, including a $100 down payment, and is expected to be released in August 2025.
In a company statement, Trump Mobile highlighted its commitment to customer satisfaction and American-made quality:
“Trump Mobile aims to offer high-quality wireless services while supporting the broader movement to put America first. Our operations are based in the United States, reflecting what our customers value and expect.”
The brand’s future may depend on how well it performs against customer expectations in service quality, device usability, and customer support.
As America heads into another election process, Trump Mobile may not only aim to connect users to their network, but it may also aim to strengthen connections with a voting base that continues to make the Trump brand forward.
